Liability Agreement
for Events & Programming

By registering for any APA DC Chapter indoor or outdoor events, you are indicating that you have chosen to voluntarily participate in an indoor or outdoor activity offered through American Photographic Artists DC Chapter and are voluntarily agreeing to the following:

1. Activities and Risks: I understand and acknowledge that indoor or outdoor recreational activities have inherent risks, dangers and hazards. Participation in such activities may result in injury or illness including, but not limited to: serious injury or death.

2. Assumption of Risk: By my participation in these activities, I agree and acknowledge that I am a consenting party to these activities and that I am aware of the risks of these activities. I appreciate the nature of the risks and voluntarily assume those risks.

3. Release of Liability: On behalf of myself and my successors or assigns, I hereby voluntarily agree to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify American Photographic Artists and/or American Photographic Artists DC Chapter, its owners, agents, officers, and employees from any and all claims, actions, or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise that may arise out of my participation in any APA DC event. I specifically understand that I am releasing, discharging, and waiving any claims or actions that I may have presently or in the future for the negligent acts or other conduct by the owners, agents, officers or employees of American Photographic Artists and/or American Photographic Artists DC Chapter, their successors and/or assigns.
