APA | DC Presents: 30 Minutes with Noah Willman
RECORDED FEBRUARY 13, 2024
Spend 30 Minutes with portraiture photographer Noah Willman on Tuesday, February 13th at 12pm ET. Noah plans to share a personal project about blind hockey - documenting clubs throughout the East Coast, a three-day Team USA vs. Team Canada tournament in Toronto, and the players' lives outside the sport. All of the players are legally blind, and besides minor differences (like using a metal puck filled with ball bearings that can be tracked by sound or making the net one foot smaller to accommodate the fully blind goalies), they play hockey that can be hard to distinguish from the sighted version of the sport.
