The APA|DC Women's Committee invites you to a special program on how to certify your business as "Women Owned." Learn from Shannon McMillan, owner of Homestead Creatives, as she guides us through the application process and shares stories about why it is important to become certified. Join us for this important program to learn how to level up in this competitive industry!

This virtual event is $10 for General Admission and $5 for all APA Members and Students.


Shannon McMillan's Bio:
With a background in photography and advertising, Shannon McMillan is ideally suited to be the owner, agent, and producer of Homestead Creatives. Shannon is well connected having successfully worked with high profile and demanding global clients as an Art Producer in Austin for over 15 years. Her ability to work with talented, high-profile photographers and integrated production teams in a variety of shooting situations results in an understanding of the multi-layered relationships between artist and client. She expertly manages true collaborative productions, resulting in extremely successful campaigns – with integrity at all levels.
