“To pay attention, this is our endless and proper work.” -Mary Oliver
Photography at its core is about observing and interpreting the outside world while yoga encourages us to look inward. Through this inner exploration, artists can open up new channels of seeing themselves, their work and how their work fits in the world at large.
Join APA | DC board member, photographer and certified yoga teacher, Hannele Lahti, for an afternoon absorbed in the teachings and practice of yoga as it relates to photography and making art on Saturday, February 3rd 1-4pm. The program will be designed to awaken your creative center, move with intention and find clarity for the year ahead through a grounding Hatha flow*, balancing breath practice, focused meditation, journal prompts and an open, inclusive (and fully optional) discussion.
This event is part of APA | DC’s Quarterly Focus on Wellness program.
