What better way to begin the New Year than to learn how to raise the bar on your craft cocktail-making skills while helping feed hungry kids.

Meet us at the DC creative community's joint virtual cocktail party to celebrate The Year of the Ox while supporting an important charity, No Kid Hungry. We all know, every great party needs a few activities, so join Gina Chersevani, master mixologist and co-host of the Designated Drinker Show, as she shows us how to craft 3 specialty cocktails using the custom syrup that’s perfect for toasting the upcoming Chinese New Year.

Once you’ve tried your hand at crafting cocktails, we invite you to join our trivia room for a bit of friendly competition. Or maybe you’re a bit of a packrat and think the scavenger hunt is yours to win? Or, you’re ready to flash some creative muscle and feel the photo contest is calling your name. Either way, it's going to be a fun tipsy virtual get-together, and $15 from every ticket will be donated to the No Kid Hungry campaign—a national campaign run by Share Our Strength, a nonprofit working to solve problems of hunger and poverty. Of course, we welcome and encourage any additional donations you feel appropriate.

  • Ticket + box pick-up at Buffalo & Bergen. - $45

  • Ticket + delivery to your home. - $55

Each ticket includes:

• admission to the virtual cocktail party, including break-out rooms and activities;

• a PARTY-IN-THE-B'OX' with custom syrup and ingredients to make 3* cocktails, or mocktails; and

• a seat at our virtual bar for a group cocktail session, led by master mixologist, Gina Chersevani.

*Liquor and is not included in the box, so we suggest you have on hand:

• 1 clear spirit of your choosing,

• 1 dark spirit of your choosing,

• champagne or dry bubbles of your liking,

• and fresh fruit or herbs for garnishment.

Pick-up or delivery details: 

• Your PARTY-IN-THE-B'OX' will be available for free pick-up on February 16th and 17th at Buffalo & Bergen, located at 240 Massachusetts Ave NE, Washington, DC 20002. Select "pick-up" at check-out.

• If you prefer—and are within 25 miles of Buffalo & Bergen—for an additional $10, your PARTY-IN-THE-B'OX' can be shipped directly to you. Select "with shipping" at check-out.
